After twenty years as a cook, in 1995 I started my own business baking organic vegan cookies. As a mother of five, I wanted to create a cookie that was both healthy and delicious, something I would feel good about giving to my own children. After a lot of experimentation and testing, I found the flavors that my children and friends loved the most.
At first, I sold my cookies at local cafes and health-food stores. But word spread fast, and now I ship my cookies all over the country. The company grew so much that I needed more space, so I turned an old dairy barn into a lovely bakery. Today I still bake in small batches, and I’m proud of our organic high quality ingredients.
